What is it?
A group of people who are interested in sharing experiences and supporting each other in their learning.
Who is it for?
Anyone who is involved in adult learning.
People start learning for all sorts of reasons:
- to help their children with their homework
- to get some qualifications
- develop their confidence in their skills before looking for work or going to college
- learn how to budget
Where does it meet?
The forum usually meets in Elgin, every 6- 8 weeks, on a Saturday 10am – 2.00pm. Lunch is provided.
What does it do?
The forum is supported by the Moray Council Essential Skills Service and Moray Adult Literacies Partnership. It brings people together and organises activities and gets involved in learning locally and nationally. The forum has published two books, made DVDs and organised a conference!
It also provides an opportunity for people to come together to discuss their learning, their goals and to have some fun.
